In this regard, meeting was held at Indore Municipal Corporation. In the meeting, attended by Indore Mayor Krishna Murari Moghe, IMC commissioner Yogendra Sharma, IMC additional commissioner Manoj Pushp, Surendra Kathuria and others, IMC officials were entrusted with necessary responsibilities to ensure completion of various works ahead of the meet.
As decided in the meeting, former city architect was given responsibility for the beautification, renovation of historical buildings, maintenance of city airport, railway station, bus stands, while chief health officer of the IMC was given responsibility to make the city clean, especially on those routes which would be frequented by the guests during the course of meeting.
Accordingly new dustbins would be installed on route charts of guests and it would be ensured that garbage from the dustbins are lifted at least twice a day.
Besides special team of cleanliness personnel would also be constituted to ensure that all the city roads which would be used by the guests would remain garbage free. In the meeting, decision was also taken to undertake proper repairs of roads leading to global investors meet venue, colouring of road dividers, beautification of green belts with installation of flower pots, lighting of high mast and street lights on the roads. IMC commissioner and the Mayor gave necessary directions for constituting a special team to keep the meeting venue and approach roads free from stray cattle. Besides instructions were also given for appointment of nodal officers.

In order to chalk out an elaborate work plan related to investors meeting, the next meeting would be held on September 24 wherein official instructions related to preparations works for the investors meet would be issued to officials concerned.
